Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Adrian Krzewinski, operating the IsoSphere application as an individual.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use IsoSphere, we may collect:

• Email address
• Username
• Profile information you choose to provide (e.g. country, social media handles, shipping info)
• Colony and collection data (species you keep)
• Wishlist and exchange listings
• Preferred language

3. Legal Basis for Processing (Art. 6 GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to provide you with access to your account and core app features.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for optional community features (Find Breeders, Exchange listings) that you explicitly choose to enable.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to improve IsoSphere features and maintain app security.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to:

• Provide and maintain your account
• Synchronize your data across devices
• Enable community features (only if you choose to use them)
• Improve IsoSphere features and fix issues

5. Data Processors & Third Parties

IsoSphere uses Firebase (Google LLC, USA) for authentication, database, and hosting services. Google acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement compliant with GDPR. Data may be transferred to servers in the United States under applicable transfer mechanisms (Standard Contractual Clauses).

IsoSphere does not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Data Sharing

Community information that you explicitly choose to share — such as species you keep, exchange listings, or your breeder profile — may be visible to other registered users of IsoSphere.

No personal data is shared with third parties beyond the data processors listed above.

7. Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including Firebase's built-in security infrastructure, to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten')
• Data portability
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

10. Supervisory Authority

If you are located in Poland and believe your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO):

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of IsoSphere after changes means you accept the updated policy.
